As of last Friday my co-worker has left on vacay for two weeks. Normally I would be ok with this, but seeing as how it is just me and the boss for the next two weeks I am currently having issues with breathing!
Friday ended with me throwing in the towel around 8pm and wondering how the giant "to do" list given to me earlier in the day (1pm to be exact) was ever going to be done for Monday morning aka Hell Day?!
I attempted to work from home, but without the proper set up I failed quite miserably. In fact I don't believe that even if I had accomplished my goals that it would have mattered.
What am I to do with all the added stress, workload and apparent lack of appreciation I get from my boss? I made two weak attempts this morning to say I had to work late on Friday and over the weekend, and they went completely unnoticed. I don't think I am built for this, and how do I stop drowning over here.
